Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected each day between now and Monday.
Some places in southeast Texas could see an additional 3-5 inches of rain, with locally higher amounts possible.
Southwest and central Louisiana will see 2-4 inches of rain, while south central Louisiana will see 1-3 inches of rain.
Expect flash flood warnings during periods of heavy rains.
A drier period is expected by the middle of next week.
