One person is dead after a crash on the 4500 block of Womack Road, where a dump truck had collided and overturned with an SUV that had caught fire afterwards.

Orange Police responded to the crash at approximately 9:49 a.m. on Tuesday. The driver of the SUV was identified as Sommer Gallien, a 44-year-old woman from Orange. She was reported dead on the scene by Chad Jenkins, Justice of the Peace Precinct 2. An autopsy has been ordered.

The driver of the dump truck sustained injuries and was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
