Friday will be cool and dry, with morning lows below freezing in parts of east Texas and central Louisiana.
There is a marginal 5% threat for severe storms this weekend on Saturday in mainly southeast Texas. This could extend into Sunday in our region.
After a dry and cool Monday and Tuesday, small rain chances return for Wednesday and Thursday next week.
