Three vehicle crash shuts down Hwy. 87 Sunday

State Highway 87 at West Bluff Road in Orange, was shut down Sunday, after a three-vehicle wreck. The driver of a southbound vehicle didn’t notice a pick up truck preparing to turn into a gas station parking lot, according to witnesses on scene.
The driver collided into the sound bound black pickup truck from behind, causing the truck to hit a northbound pickup head on shortly after 12 p.m.
The northbound truck lost control and landed on its passenger side in a near by ditch after the crash. The driver was able to self extricate himself from the vehicle, with only a head injury.
The driver of the black pickup truck was stuck inside of his truck for a short time, after his doors were stuck from the impact.
The driver of the silver car that the truck was not injured.
Both drivers of the trucks were taken to area hospitals in unknown condition.
State Hwy. 87 was closed for over an hour while the accident was cleaned up.
