ORANGE COUNTY
• All city of Vidor offices will be closed Tuesday and he sanitation service will suspended due to upcoming inclement weather.
• Vidor Municipal Court will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
You will have a 10-day grace period to reschedule, additionally during the grace period you will not receive a failure to appear or warrants.
• Vidor Independent School District campuses and offices will be closed Tuesday.
• Bridge City Independent School District campuses and offices will be closed Tuesday.
• Orangefield Independent School District campuses and offices will be closed Tuesday.
• West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District campuses and offices will be closed Tuesday.

The following closings have been announced due to the expected inclement weather:
• Lamar State College Orange
Closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Closed Tuesday due to predicted winter weather conditions. This closure includes all face-to-face, online and hybrid courses at the Orange, Lumberton and Livingston locations.
• Lamar University
Closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Closed Tuesday due to predicted winter weather conditions. This closure includes all in-person, hybrid, and online classes.
• Lamar Institute of Technology
Closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Closed Tuesday due to predicted winter weather conditions.
• Catholic schools of the Diocese of Beaumont
Closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Closed Tuesday due to the expected inclement weather.
Delayed start at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
These schools are Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School, St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School, St. Anne School in Beaumont; St. Catherine of Siena School in Port Arthur; and St. Mary School in Orange.

• East Roundbunch swing bridge to close Sunday
Orange County Road and Bridge officials are advising the public that the East Roundbunch swing bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at approximately 6 p.m. on Sunday due to forecasted inclement weather and will reopen on Wednesday.
The weather conditions may include ice and sleet, which could make the bridge and surrounding roads hazardous for travel. Officials will continue to monitor the weather and assess road and bridge conditions throughout the week. Motorists are urged to plan ahead for potential delays and seek alternative routes. Safety remains a top priority, and updates on the bridge’s status will be provided as necessary.
