Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas announces Larry Beaulieu 2024 Scholarship winners

Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas annually offers a limited number of $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors whose parent, step-parent or legal guardian is a law enforcement officer within the Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas service area.
The Larry Beaulieu Scholarship was created to support the education and development of area law enforcement officer’s children and honor the leadership of the organization’s founding chairman, Larry Beaulieu.
For 2024, Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas is able to award six scholarships to the following graduating seniors:
- Kaylar Steltz – Monsignor Kelly HS – Parent Alisha Steltz (JCSO)
- Emerey Riley – PNG – Parents Carol Riley (BPD) James Riley (JCSO)
- Ava Eastepp – Hamshire-Fannett HS – Parent Jeffrey Eastepp (BPD)
- Kyndall Schroeder – West Hardin CISD – Stepfather Aaron Burleson (Sour Lake PD)
- Mariska Steele – LCM HS – Parent Chuck Steele (OPD)
- Emily Morrow – LHS – Parents Matthew & Haley Morrow (BPD)
Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas will host a ceremony to honor each of the scholarship recipients at 6 p.m. May 7.
The presentation is held in the auditorium of the Foundation for Southeast Texas Building, located at 700 North Street in Beaumont.
“Crime Stoppers is humbled to be a part of building a stronger future for our community and to honor and show our appreciation for our law enforcement agency partners,” a release stated.
“CrimeStoppers is a 501 (C) 3, non-profit organization and we count on the financial support of our partners, donors and the community to be able to continue to offer this scholarship and many other services, including, cash for tips.
