“Christmas from Charlie: Charles M. Russell Holiday Greetings” is on display in the museum lobby until Jan. 6 at The Stark Museum of Art.
This holiday exhibition offers visitors a glimpse into the festive spirit of renowned artist Charles M. Russell.
Showcasing a curated selection of Russell’s cherished holiday greetings sent to friends, the exhibition encapsulates the warmth and joy of the season through Russell’s heartfelt words and picturesque illustrations.
His timeless messages continue to spread good cheer and celebrate the magic of Christmas.
“We’re thrilled to bring back this special showcase that captures the essence of holiday goodwill through the lens of a revered artist like Charles M. Russell,” said Sarah E. Boehme, curator at the Stark Museum of Art. “It’s an opportunity for visitors to experience the season’s sentiments as conveyed by Russell’s heartfelt greetings and artistry.”
