The latest edition of the legendary Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Magazine will be out soon along with their complete coverage of Texas colleges and NFL teams and all of the highlights in between.
Of course, that includes complete high school coverage as well, including predictions.
The predictions are in as it looks like the Southeast Texas area is going to have some major battles to decide district crowns.
The West Orange-Stark Mustangs, who have won eight straight district titles and have made eight straight trips to the 4A Region II Finals including four trips to the 4A Division II state title game that led to two state titles, are picked to finish second behind the Silsbee Tigers in District 10-4A Division II.
The Mustangs (9-5, 4-0) defeated the Tigers (10-5, 3-1) in 10-4A action last year to claim the title but it was the Tigers that downed the Mustangs in the playoffs to advance to the regional finals.
Silsbee is picked first, followed by WO-S, Hamshire-Fannett (5-6, 1-3), Liberty (7-4, 2-2) and Hardin-Jefferson (2-8, 0-4).
In District 11-4A Division I last season, the Spendora Wildcats ran away with the district crown with a perfect mark.
