Mrs. Anna Garrick Polete

The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Anna Garrick Polete, 98, of Orange will be Friday, February 22nd, 2019 at 11am at St. Therese Catholic Church. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Anna Garrick Polete was born February 15, 1920 in Churchpoint, LA to Mr. Alcee Carrier and Mrs. Alice Carrier.
She has resided in Orange some 80 years and working years were spent as a Nurse’s Aide.
A member of St. Therese Catholic Church, she sang in the choir and was involved in numerous other church activities.
Her summons from earthly life came February 10th, 2019 at The Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Orange.
Survivors include 3 sons, Darrow Garrick (Alma) of Vallejo, CA, Douglas Garrick of San Francisco, CA and Joseph Garrick of Orange and 8 grandchildren.
