Little Cypress-Mauriceville basketball standout Katon Brown signed to play college basketball at Illinois Central Tuesday in front of family and friends. Brown was a three-time First Team All-District selection and three-time All-Orange Leader First Team selection and was the Orange Leader Team’s MVP for the 2017-18 season. He averaged 19 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in helping the Bears get to the area round of the playoffs.
