VIDOR — It is not too late to go back to school and earn a high school diploma.
Adults ages 18-25 can take advantage of AIM Center High School’s convenient and self-paced adult education program. AIM Center High School is designed to fit the learner’s schedule, and to meet the unique needs of adult learners every step of the way.
Students may benefit from the Adult High School Diploma Program if they:
- Are no longer eligible to complete their high school education in a traditional high school setting
- Are trying to complete their high school studies while working full time and/or raising a family
- Travel frequently
Courses are free of charge and are recommended for:
- Students needing to recover lost credit
- Students with unusual time commitments
- Students who need a unique environment to meet their academic needs
- Students needing a few credits to graduate
This program is designed to meet the educational needs of students whose high school education has been interrupted. The courses are available to students 18-25 who are behind in credits and/or required courses and wish to catch up in order to graduate with a high school diploma.
Students can attend afternoon/evening school. Classes are held in the evenings, Tuesday and Thursday. In addition, those choosing to work towards a G.E.D. may attend preparation classes free of charge on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the AIM Center, located at 690 Orange Street in Vidor.
