The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is expecting off and on periods of rain with embedded thunderstormsSaturday through Monday. No widespread severe storms are expected. Rain totals will be one to four inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Street flooding could be a problem during times of the heaviest rain.  Along the coast, tides will continue to run one to one and a half foot above normal, causing minor coastal flooding during high tide.
