PRESS RELEASE

On Monday, July 6, 2015, around 10:10 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received an
emergency call about an unresponsive male at Rescar Industries located at 1993 Foreman Road,
Orange, Orange County, Texas.

When Deputies arrived, they discovered that one of the workers was found unresponsive
inside of a tank car by another employee.  The employees gathered safety equipment to hoist the
man’s body out of the tank car and onto a stretcher.  There were no signs of life and the Justice of
the Peace Precinct #2 Judge Dunn ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The deceased man was identified as 42 year old black male, Martin Parks Jr., of Beaumont,
Texas.  The investigation is ongoing and more information may be released as it becomes
available.
