The Bridge City boys soccer team lost a hard fought game Friday night 2-1 at Hamshire-Fannett.
Oscar Carranza put the only goal in the net for the Cardinals in the first half as the Cards took a 1-0 halftime lead.
HF scored two second half goals to win the match.
It was a great defensive effort for the Cardinals who were led defensively by Kian Perry, Jalen Jones, Kobe Bailey and Preston Peterson. Camden Perry also played a great game as Goal Keeper. BC is now 1-1 in district play. The Cardinals take on the Tigers in Silsbee at 7 and Friday have the LC-M Bears at 6 PM at BC.
