Flooding Update 1.3.19

PRESS RELEASE — Just a quick update to the flooding situation. We have seen 1 to 4 inches of rainfall across the area the past  24 hours. An additional 1-3 inches of rainfall is expected today before ending this afternoon and evening.

We have added a few more rivers that we expect significant impacts and now expect significant flooding impacts at the following locations:
The area of most concern is the Sabine Basin where Major flooding is expected. The predicted crests will put the river in the top 10 highest levels on record.
Moderate flooding is expected on the  Neches near the Saltwater Barrier,  Calcasieu Basin, and  Mermentau Basin.
