A letter from BCISD Superintindent Todd Lintzen …

Bridge City Staff,

I hope this email finds your days improving after Hurricane Harvey. My heart goes out to the students, staff, and community members who were impacted by this storm. While the recovery process is just beginning, it is important for us to get our students back in school. When you return to work and our students return to school there will be time to determine individual needs for students and staff so that we can provide help and support. Please take care of our students as well as staff who endured this horrible event. Our community will continue to step up and rebuild to prove once again that we are Bridge City Strong.

Part of the healing/recovery process is to get back to a sense of normalcy. In order to do this we must return to work so that our children can return to school. The school information is as follows:

Monday, September 11, 2017 All staff returns to work. We will meet at 8:00 in the BCE Cafeteria.

Tuesday, September 12, 2017 Student return to school. School will begin at the normally scheduled time.
