New Officers set for Orange County Friends

Transfer of leadership recently took place for the local group, Orange County Friends, formerly known as Orange Newcomers.
New Officers and committee chairs are as follows: President, Karen Akers; Co-Vice Presidents, Barbara Meyer and Anne Payne; Secretary, Debra McCombs; Treasurer, Debbie Francis; Directory and Night Bunco Chair, Carolyn Lemons; Day Bunco Co-Chairs, Barbara Meyer and Anne Payne; Bridge Co-Chairs, Joy and Patsy Holland; Creative Corner, Sunshine, and Newsletter Chairs, Debra McCombs; Mah Jong Chair, Karen Akers; Publicity Chair, Anne Payne; Book Club, Janelle Ramsey; and Out and About Chairs, Executive Board. Dues are only $15 per person yearly.
Guest Speaker Claire Smith was presented with a gift certificate from In Focus, as were outgoing officers Karen McKinney, Lois Ferrell, and Pam Cox.
OCF is a social group open to those ladies in the surrounding areas.
Activities include Day and Night Bunco, Bridge, Mah Jong, Creative Corner, Book Club, and Out and About. Activities meet at certain times on designated days.
