Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce hosts Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet

The Greater Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting and banquet this past week to celebrate and honor its members who seek to make a difference in the Orange community.
The event was hosted at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center and included social time, dinner, and awards. The banquet also serves to introduce the new chairman of the board of directors, Stacey Brister.
“The turning of the calendar to 2025 offers us a unique opportunity to reflect on our goals, our accomplishments, learn from our past experiences, set new goals and renew our commitment to making Orange stronger together,” said Brister. “ At the Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce our mission is clear, unite businesses, drive growth and build a better community.”
The incoming board of directors for 2025 is as follows:
Stacey Brister – Chairman of the Board
Shaun McAlpin – Chairman-Elect
Zach Johnson- Vice Chairman Governmental Affairs
Wade Smith – Vice Chairman Special Projects
Ashla Taylor – Vice Chairman Membership Services
Wendy Elmore – Vice Chairman Education
Megan Layne – Vice Chairman Economic Development
Joe Love – Vice Chairman Treasurer
Jessica Hill – Immediate Past Chairman
Special recognitions included Ashla Taylor as Chamber Ambassador of the Year, Colton Baker of First Financial Bank Texas for the Next Generation Orange County Spotlight Award, Be Blessed Orange County for the Nonprofit Community Service Award, Mathew Jewelers Orange for the Business Community Service Award, Megan Layne, Orange County Economic Development Corporation Executive Director for the Board Chairperson of the Year and finally Clyde V. Mckee III as the Citizen of the Year award winner.
