Capital murder suspect Michael Maurice Mack turned himself in to authorities Tuesday morning and is now in custody, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez announced.
Mack, 48, was sought on a capital murder warrant in connection with the Aug. 14 fatal shooting Kelvin Hinton, 53.
Mack is suspected in the killing in Harris County in which he allegedly forced his estranged wife to help dispose of the body in Vidor.
Hinton’s body was set afire and left at a dump site in the 1000 block of Old Highway 90 in Vidor.
