Vidor police, FBI investigating bank robbery

VIDOR — Vidor police is working with the FBI in connection with a late morning bank robbery Thursday.
Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll said the call came in at approximately 11:11 a.m. for First State Bank in the 1400 block of North Main.
An armed individual entered the bank and demanded funds then left with an undisclosed amount. Police are working with the FBI on downloading video of the incident.
The individual is described as a black male 30 to 40 years of age. He was wearing a mask and what Carroll called a fishing hat.
The last bank robbery in the city occurred about two years ago.
