Heat wave to continue for SETX

The high temps are here to stay a bit longer as chances for a prolonged heat wave are possible for most of the state.
There is a moderate to major risk for heat related impacts with daily highs ranging from 96 to 98 with maximum heat indices to the 109 ranges through Sunday, according to the National Weather Service Lake Charles.
“Temperatures are expected to remain above normal, and there are no indications for widespread rainfall anytime soon.
Although the area saw abundant rain earlier this summer, the Southeast Texas area is looking to see below normal precipitation moving into the end of the month, according to information from NWS.
