Arrest made for the death of five year old

PRESS RELEASE — On June 26, 2020 at 12:02 PM Orange Police Department officers were dispatched to 712 10th St., Orange, Texas in reference to a deceased child. The child was identified as five-year-old Daviana Landry (B/F/11-24-2014).
On Monday, June 29, 2020 the preliminary findings of the autopsy ruled the manner of death as a Homicide by blunt force trauma.
On June 29, 2020, an arrest warrant for Capital Murder was served on Brenika Lott (B/F/6-22-1988). Ms. Lott was arrested without incident.
