BRIDGE CITY – Bridge City High School is trying to make plans to honor the 1959 Girls & Boys Basketball teams at a home Lady Cardinals game Feb. 11.

The recognition is for the Girls team making it to the Class a/AA Regional finals as well as the Boys Regional run during that time.

The Girls team made it to the Regional finals before falling to Central Pollock 31-29 in the last two seconds after they defeated Joaquin in the regional semifinals. The Cardinal boys fell in the Regional semifinals.

The school is asking for help to try to get a hold of all the members of those teams and family members as well.
