Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce requested a change in venue for an upcoming tournament.

Originally, there were plans for a national fishing tournament this August. Now the tournament will be regional.

In previous years, the chamber has marketed the region to several fishing tournaments bringing in such groups as Bassmaster Elite.

The first tournament hosted in the area brought in record crowds.
