St. Mary students place in Catholic Daughters contest

Catholic Daughters of the America’s, Court St. Cecilia, #1396 conducted the annual Catholic Daughters of the America’s Education Contest for the area Catholic students in religious education programs and the day school, St. Mary Catholic School. Vice-Regent Jeanette Boehme is the Education Chair of the Court.
There were two divisions entered; Division I (Grades 4 and 5), and Division II (Grades 6 through 8). Winners from St. Mary Catholic School included: Division I: Poetry – 1st place: Paige McKee, 2nd place: Josie Riedel, 3rd place: Grace Wimberley and Honorable Mention: Robert Folsom. Division II winners are: Art – 1st place: Elizabeth Quintero, Poetry – 1st place: Drake Thompson, 2nd place: Elizabeth Quintero, 3rd place: Kyden Lyon and Honorable Mention: Kolbe Hughes. Essay – 1st place: Dalton Hogan, 2nd place: Jacob Gonzalez, 3rd place: Madelyn Smith and Honorable Mention: Kiera Howington.
