Golden K Kiwanis meeting
“Our Flag: Its History and Evolution,” will be visually presented by John and Jeanette Clark of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign War) on Wed., June 27, 9-10 a.m., in the meeting room of the Orange Salvation Army, corner of MLK and Strickland.
The public is welcomed, and coffee will be offered.
Day Bunco
OCF (Orange County Friends) will host its June Day Bunco on
Wed., June 27, at 11 a.m. at Tuffy’s in Mauriceville, corner of Hwy. 12 and Hwy. 62. Yearly membership dues are $15 per year. Day Bunco, a simple game of dice, costs $5 per person to play. Text 409.738.3885 to reserve a space to play. Lunch at Tuffy’s is Dutch Treat.

Farmer’s Market
The Mauriceville Heritage Association will host our weekly farmer’s market this Thursday afternoon under the community center pavilion 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. at Mauriceville Community Center 7441 Cohenour Road in Mauriceville. Gates will not open until 5 p.m. so our vendors can completely set up. Most vendors were sold out last week by 7 p.m. New vendors are more than welcome. Interested vendors should call or text 409-659-3998 for permission to set up. Vendors must be in the gate by 4:30 p.m. Vendors ONLY please enter through gate 3 past the pavilion by 4:30 p.m.
Texas Master Naturalist, Sabine-Neches Chapter meeting
Texas Master Naturalist, Sabine-Neches Chapter will meet at 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Orange County Agri-Life Extension Center located at 11475 FM 1442 in Orange.

Battle on the Border
The 2nd annual Disc Golf Competition, Battle on the Border, will tee off at 9 a.m. at The Nazz Disc Golf Course, located at 3810 Martin Luther King Jr Drive in Orange. Check in is from 7 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. Open Division is $50, Advanced Divisions $40, Intermediate Divisions $30 and Rec, Jrs., and Novice is $25.
