PINEHURST — Innovative Air Solutions has teamed up with Granger Chevrolet to host a benefit to raise funds for the Pinehurst Police Department.

Giving back to the community is a goal for Innovative Air Solutions in 2018, according to a letter sent out to local businesses concerning the upcoming fundraiser.

“We are a locally owned business and we work close with City Hall and the police department,” Officer Manager Stephanie White said. “They are wonderful people and we wanted to show we back the blue.”

Men and women in blue need gear essential to their positions to help better serve the community. Innovative Air decided it is a good idea to help supply the department through a fundraiser.

“We appreciate everything the do for the community,” White said.

It is the same appreciation that spearheaded the idea for the benefit as an opportunity for others to show how much the officers are appreciated.

The Barbecue Fundraiser is from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 17 in front of the Pinehurst Police Department on MLK in Pinehurst.

The meal will consist of link, chips and a drink for $8.

Delivery of ten or more meals is available.

Preorders are accepted.

“We have a form for businesses to preorder,” Administrative Assistant Karli Dallas said.

Preorders and payment are due on Tuesday, May 15.
