Bunny Run and Easter Egg Hunt

The 5th Annual Bridge City Rotary Club Bunny Run and Egg Hunt will take place. The 5K run will start at 8 a.m. The 1K run will start at 9 a.m. The Egg Hunt will immediately follow. For ticket info call (409) 313-0412 or (409) 313-4679.

 

P.E.O Bake Sale

Philanthropic Educational Organization will hold a Bake Sale at 9 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church located at 1401 Park Ave. in Orange.

 

Easter Egg Hunt

An Easter egg Hunt hosted by Keep It Clean Services will be held from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Lions Den Park in Orange. The event will include a live DJ, food, egg hunt, egg dying and more.

Easter Egg Hunt

MacArthur Baptist Church, 3600 Nightingale (across from Triple L Honda on Strickland), will hold a Gigantic Easter egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 1, immediately following the 10:45 a.m. Worship Service (everyone is invited to attend). Crochet Class

Crochet Class at 6:30 p.m. at Orange First Church of the Nazarene, 3810 M.L.K. Jr. Drive in Orange. The class is in the Dining Room. Please bring a P hook and one ball of Bernat Baby Blanket yarn. You will need seven balls to complete the project, but only need to bring one to class. Class is free and open to the public. The Orange County Parkinson Awareness Support Group  will  celebrate  April – Parkinson Awareness month with a meeting  Wednesday  April 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church Hall 4300 Meek Drive in Orange. 2018 Juried Student Art Reception

Enjoy visiting This Land Was Made for You and Me: 2018 Juried Student Art Exhibition from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. in the Walter G. Riedel III Education Center, 712 Green Ave. in Orange, refreshments and performances by the LCM Jazz Band in the Museum’s lobby, and a special awards ceremony to recognize this year’s artists. This event is free to the public, and all community members are invited to attend to this special event to honor our talented student artists. Additional event parking is available at 6th and Elm and at the Lutcher Theater.

Breakfast Connection

Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce will hold Breakfast Connections at 7:30 a.m. hosted by First Financial Bank, Mauriceville Branch, located at 11853 TX-12 in Mauriceville.

 

Fundraiser

American Legion Post 49, located at 108 Green Ave. in Orange, will hold a Fried Fish plate lunch fundraiser from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 5. The meal will consist of fried fish, potato salad, cole slaw, green beans, bread and dessert. Cost is $8 a plate. Walk-ins are welcome and delivery is available. Call 409-886-1241 after noon on Wednesday, April 4 and before 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 5 for orders and deliveries.
