From staff reports

As part of a community correlation effort to help rebuild Orange, two meetings will be held to help gather information and connect people with the needed resources.

“God is So God and I’m believing that the best is yet to come,” Pastor Demetrius Moffett said. “I want to encourage you, God still has the final say.”

The meetings will help gather information on those still in need, the resources available and recruit volunteers to assist those still in need of demoing.

“This is to help us mobilize to help the community,” Moffett said. “The primary goal is to help our own.”

Moffett added, “We will be gathering to afford our community the opportunity to receive and be a help. We will be focusing on the needs of our community. We still have neighbors that are in need of having sheet rock cut out as well as needing manpower to help with the rebuild. Our goal is to identify who are neighbors are in need and formulate teams to assist in the restoration efforts.

We also welcome those who have been contacted and connected to agencies and organizations that are excited about supplying material to ensure our restoration.”
