In this life, I am a firm believer that what you put into your life is what you will get out. I do not feel sympathy for people who give a woe is me story and fail to pick up the pieces of their life. Although it is always easier said than done, it is best to move on. I have learned it is always easier to sulk in our fears and insecurities than to challenge them. But it takes a strong individual to overcome them.
I love people who get up and go after what they want in their life. I have never felt no dream is too big or too small to achieve. For example, my goal, my dream, my priority is to be the FIRST Nigerian to win an Oscar. That is right! I have been saying this since the age of 16. I am 36 now and I truly realize that time waits for no one nor does it come on our time. I have a dream and I strive and go after that dream daily.
That leads me to say I recall having conservation with a young man who told me about his dream to open a t-shirt shop and be his own entrepreneur. He was sharing with me that he was one of the first to start the t-shirt business in Orange, TX and that he saw big things for himself. I asked him how long has he been making t-shirts and he said for the past seven years. I told him that was awesome and that he should continue with his dream to open up his shop. “That is what I plan to do.” He stated.
July 15, 2017, this young man by the name of Seth Hancock, opened up his own t-shirt shop that day. He had a wonderful turnout and the people of the community came to support him tremendously.
I am so proud of this young man, because he had a vision, he believed in himself and through God pushing him, he made his dream a reality. The ONLY person that can stop you from fulfilling your dream is yourself. With the support of Nia’s Treats catering the event (a story you will soon read) because these amazing cookies are baked by an awesome fourteen year young girl, and a dj and several businesses supporting him, Seth T Shirt Hancock (which he is best known as) had a successful and fantastic event. He is located at 1011 10th Street, Suite 110 in Orange, TX and hi work is beautiful.
He has made yours truly a shirt and I will continue to promote him. It is time for all of us to promote each other and motivate one another.
Seth Hancock I am very proud of you and continue to look forward to what you have in store for us in the future. If you have a dream, believe in yourself, trust yourself, and encourage yourself.
