Molly Mountjoy Burleigh

Molly Mountjoy Burleigh, 67, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 16, 2017, in Beaumont, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 20, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Mike Umbenhaur. Burial will follow the service at Dorman Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on November 4, 1950, Molly was the daughter of John Thomas McCoppin, Jr. and Susan Alice (Biser) McCoppin. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Orange. Molly enjoyed travelling with her friends and quilting. She loved her grandchildren dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Susan McCoppin; and her loving husband, John Rupert Burleigh, Jr.

Molly is survived by her children, John Burleigh and wife Angela, of Port Arthur, Chris Burleigh and wife Megan, of Orange, and Jeremy Burleigh and wife Lori, of Kalamazoo, Michigan; grandchildren, Andrew Snow, Alexis Burleigh, Aleaha Burleigh, Madelyn Burleigh, Lillyn Burleigh, Camryn Burleigh, Addison Burleigh, Maci Burleigh, and Ethan Burleigh; great grandchildren, Julian Lusk and Haven Snow; and her brothers, John Thomas McCoppin III and wife Dorothy of Lake McQueeny and Ray McCoppin and wife Angela, of Coldspring.

Honorary pallbearer is Andrew Snow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
