Lenton Lane Childress

Lenton Lane Childress, 68, of Port Arthur, died Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Port Arthur. A lifelong resident of Nederland, Lane was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Nederland. Lane served his country in the U.S.Marines was retired from Data Communications with Shell/Motiva. He was an avid Photographer.

Lane was preceded in death by his father, Lenton J. Childress; mother, Donna Earline Childress; sisters, Earlene Childress and Bertie L. Childress and a brother, Jack D. Childress.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Brock Childress of Port Arthur; daughters, Lanie Childress of Groves and Marsha Wright of Nederland; sons, Chris Wright (Marisha) of Killeen and Danny Wright (Sherie) of Bryan and three grandchildren, Devin, Paisley and Mickey. Lane is, also, survived by his best friends – Ben Blackmon and Guy Rogers.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, November 13, 2017, at 10:00 AM in the Grammier Oberle Chapel in Port Arthur. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 12, 2017, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home. The interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Military Honors.
