Katie Marie Rhodes

Katie Marie Rhodes 68 of Orange, Texas died Sunday November 6, 2016 at her residence after a short illness.

Katie was a life long resident of Orange, Texas and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Orange. She was retired from the Green Acres Development Center in Bridge City, Texas. Katie was love by many in the community along with family and friends.

Going home celebration will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at New Beginning Outreach Church located at 1512 15th Street in Orange, Texas with Pastor Eddie Smith officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:30 pm til time of service. Interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Memorial Chapel.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter, Tanya Rhodes of Orange, Texas. Two brothers, Weblyn Jones of Orange, Texas; and Eddie Jones (Judith) of West Hills, California. Two sisters, Catherine Jones (Michael) and Virginia Jones both of Orange, Texas.

She also leaves behind one grandchild and one great grandchild and a host of family and friends.
