While on a trip to Central America with his grandparents, Jack Fontenot of Bridge City had the opportunity to meet Governor of Honduras Ricardo Merren ret. 
Fontenot is a 2019 graduate of Bridge City High School and an avid fisherman. Jack is shown presenting Governor Merren with a Penn 330 saltwater fishing combo reel and rod. Governor Merren gave Jack a personal tour of the island of Roatan and also had lunch with his family.
