The City of Vidor Police Department responded to the following calls from Oct. 9 – Oct. 15, 2019:
Wednesday, Oct. 9
- Suspicious vehicle on East Railroad
- Traffic collision near Wilson and East Railroad
- Animal attack at the 800 block of Lian Street. A person was bitten by a snake. The snake was thrown outside and was reported as unable to locate.
- Suspicious activity at the corner of North Timberlane and Feeder Road.
- Suspicious vehicle at the 200 block of Mill Street
- Traffic hazard near Farm to Market Roads 1132 and 105. People were reported for screaming and going into traffic. Two citations were issued.

- Suspicious person near Orange and Vernon
- Suspicious vehicle at Veteran Park – Claiborne
- Trespassing at the 500 block of West Bolivar Street
- Animal call at the 800 block of South Dewitt Street. A dog was hit by a car.
- Hit and run at the 1100 block of North Main Street
- Traffic collision near Interstate 10 and Main Street
- Assault at the 600 block of Kent Street
- Burglary at the 700 block of Old 90
- Suspicious person at the 500 block of Alamo Street
- Theft near Ball Park and Old 90

- Found property at the 300 block of Sargent Street. A knife was found by a mailbox. It was gone when police arrived.
