David Payne of Orange was honored by 20 friends who gathered recently for his retirement at Boardwalk Grille in downtown Orange.  Payne is pictured in the aqua shirt, third from left. Payne’s last day was Friday, August 30, from Westlake PetroChemical in Sulphur, Louisiana.  He served as a chemical engineer a total of 47 years at plants in Texas, Florida, and Louisiana.
