Billie Tucker

Billie Tucker was born in Monroe North Carolina on October 27,1942  In 1958 she moved to Southeast Texas with her mother Ruby.  In 1960, she met the man that she would spend a lifetime loving.  Until the end of her life she was a devoted and caring wife to the love of her life Francis Tucker.  They were married for 57 years, 10 months, 28 days and 4 hours.  They shared a lifetime of memories that will live on in the hearts of all that knew them.

Billie was truly one of a kind.  She exemplified all of the qualities of a great person.  She was a warm, kind, and gentle woman that loved everyone.  She was never one to complain or draw attention to herself no matter how bad things may have been for her.  That radiant smile and sweet disposition was always on display even in the bad times.  She loved a fresh brewed cup of coffee accompanied by some lively conversation from a visit with one of her many friends or relatives.

All of the attributes that many of us aspire to possess in our lives were ever present and evident in hers.  The world would be a much more loving place if there were more Billie Tucker’s around.  The tapestry of her life is the backdrop of beauty that lives on in her husband Francis, and all of her family and friends.  To know Billie was to see and feel true love and compassion mixed with the innocence of a child.  What a joy and honor it was to know her in this life, and if we will be so fortunate, to know her in the next.

On November 6th, 2018 at 4am in the morning the light and life of Billie Tucker left the bounds of this world and was translated into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
