The Celebration of Life for Mr. James Clinton Richard, 54, of Orange, was held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

An Honorably Discharged U.S. Navy Veteran, Military Rites were conducted by the Southeast Texas Veteran’s Service Group.

Interment was held in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX.

An Orange native, he was a 1981 Graduate of West Orange-Stark High School. A Commercial Truck Driver, he was the Senior Driver for Tri-Matheson Inc.

He died August 3, 2017 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, TX.

Survivors include daughter, Jasmine Richard Warrior of Austin, TX, mother, Sarah G. Richard, brother, Roderick Richard, Sr.(Stacy), sisters, Beverly Robinson (Frederick) and Benita Richard, all of Orange.
