Press Release — At approximately 6:20a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a one vehicle crash at the intersection of FM 1136 and Turtle Road in Orange County.

Preliminary reports indicate that a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound on FM 1136.  For an unknown reason, the driver of the motorcycle traveled off the roadway, struck a utility pole and mailbox before coming to rest.

The motorcyclist, 24-year-old Cullen Mann of Orange, was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.  Mann was not wearing a helmet.

All information is preliminary as Troopers work to determine the factors that contributed to this fatal crash.
