At approximately 1:25 p.m. on Thursday, the Texas Department of Public Safety received a report of a two vehicle crash on US 69 at Hooks Cemetery Loop in Hardin County.

At this time, US 69 at Hooks Cemetery Loop Road is closed in both directions.  The roadway will remain closed until all occupants have been safely removed from the crash scene.

The crash involved six vehicles including a truck tractor semi-trailer.  Four people have been transported to local hospitals; however, their injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The intersection at US 69 at Hooks Cemetery Loop Road remain closed.  Troopers expect the roadway to remain closed for another 1-2 hours as the contents on the 18-wheeler are removed from the roadway.
