Orange County sees many incumbents running for office as election sign-ups reach the last two weeks to run for office.

City of Orange

Brad Childs and Mary McKenna are both running for council member districts 2 and 4 respectively as incumbents. Reginald Broussard and George Mortimer are running for council member place 5. 

Bridge City

Aaron Roccaforte and Bryant Champagne are running for city council members place 1 and 3 respectively as incumbents. Christopher Bouley and Lucy Fields are both running for city council member place 5.

Bridge City ISD

Rebecca Rutledge, President and Place 3, Thad Hill, Place 4 and Jerry McInnis, Secretary and Place 5 are all running as incumbents to retain their seats on the School Board.  

West Orange

Brent Dearing and Meritta Kennedy are running as incumbents for their current seats. No one has filed to run for the mayoral seat as of this time. 

Pinehurst and Little Cypress – Mauriceville ISD 

Election information was not currently available before publication deadlines.

West Orange – Cove Consolidated ISD

Demetrius Hunter and Linda Bryant are both running as incumbents for their current seats. 

 

All listed elections have until Feb 14 to file to run for election.
