WEST ORANGE — Police in West Orange are searching for a female who robbed an AT&T store at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Assistant Police Chief Jesse Romero said at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday a female wearing a blond wig with a baseball cap and some sort of surgical style mask entered the store and spoke to a clerk about phone service.

The clerk went to the back of the store and was followed by the masked woman at which time the woman announced the robbery and ordered the clerk to give over merchandise.

The robber was able to get away with numerous phones, Apple watches and iPads though no cash was stolen, Romero said.

The suspect was last seen running around the back of the building located at 3109 Edgar Brown Drive and leaving.
