Lady Cardinals’ Carson Fall earns All-State honor

A local softball star in the making once again earned her spot among the state of Texas’ best athletes.
Former Bridge City Lady Cardinals pitcher Carson Fall has been named First Team All-State by the Texas Sports Writers Association.
The talented pitcher tallied an astounding 425 strikeouts this past season and won 23 games. 17 of Fall’s contests were complete game shutouts, and she pitched 11 no-hitters.
While she has graduated from Bridge City, Fall will continue her softball career at the University of Kentucky next season.
Voting was conducted by TSWA members based on nominations from coaches and media members around the state.
