DPS seeking next of kin of fatal Orange County crash victim

Law enforcement is continuing to search for the next of kin of a man who was killed when he was struck by a car on the highway last week.
A representative of the Texas Department of Public Safety said they will release the identity when it is available.
No charges will be filed in the case.
The fatal crash happened at approximately 10:55 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 10 near the 874 mile marker.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates a 2017 Toyota Camry was traveling east and struck a pedestrian who entered the roadway, according to information from DPS
The driver of the Toyota, identified as 30-year-old Cameron Williams of Harlingen, was not injured.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene by a justice of the peace.
