Orange City Council swears in new and returning council members

The city of Orange held its first regular city council meeting since the May 3 election to swear in its winners.
Judge Jim Sharon Beardon Jr. was present to administer the oath of office for the newly elected and reelected Orange council members at the May 13 city council meeting.
Council Member District 2 Brad Childs and Council Member District 4 Mary McKenna, along with newly elected George T. Mortimer representing At Large Place 5.
Mortimer had also recently served as President of the Orange EDC Mortimer beat out Reginald Broussard and is replacing Caroline Hennigan for the Place 5 seat.
Childs was appointed as Mayor Pro Tem.
