Incumbent Misty Songe Hart retains mayoral seat

Misty Songe Hart wins another term as mayor of Vidor. The Vidor mayoral race saw the only mayoral race in Orange County.
The results are as follows:
Misty Songe Hart with 50.63% of the vote or 364 total votes.
Nicole McGowan with 31.29% of the vote or 225 total votes
Ken Luce with 10.01% of the vote or 72 total votes
Trevor Daughtry with 3.2% of the vote or 23 total votes
Shawn Volkmann with 2.64% of the vote or 19 total votes
Ashley Hall with 2.23% of the votes or 16 total votes
Vidor City Council seats in Ward 1 and Ward 6 were also up for grabs. Kelly Carder won Ward 1 with 55.96%, defeating Jerrod C. Nash.
Deborah Gatlin won Ward 6 with 50.62% of the vote, defeating incumbent Kathryn Weldon.
Vidor ISD School Board Trustee seats Position 4 and Position 5 were up for election. Natalie Martinez Long won Position 4 with 50.08% of the vote. Matt McPayne won Position 5 with 60.91% of the vote.
