The 84th Annual Orange Lions Club Charity Carnival is right around the corner with rides, food and family fun.

The event is from April 2 – April 5 and April 9 – April 12 at Lion’s Den Park, 1802 Main Ave.

The carnival is put on by members of the Orange Lions Club along with the Bridge City Lions, Orange Noon Lions and Little Cypress Lions clubs, Paul Dickerson said. All of the rides are owned and operated by the Orange Lions.

Dickerson, a 23 year member of the Little Cypress club, said they pride themselves as having a very affordable carnival for families.

The Lions Club charities include providing eyeglasses for individuals and supporting schools in Orange County to assist children in need of eyeglasses. On a state level the groups support Leader Dogs for the Blind. They also support a children’s camp in Kerrville for local children that qualify.
