WEATHER ALERT – Updated Monday (2 p.m.) list of closings due to Winter Weather warning.

The following closings have been announced due to the upcoming winter weather event:

 ORANGE COUNTY

• All city of Vidor offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday and the sanitation service will suspended due to upcoming inclement weather.

• Vidor Municipal Court will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

You will have a 10-day grace period to reschedule, additionally during the grace period you will not receive a failure to appear or warrants.

• Vidor Independent School District campuses and offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

• Bridge City Independent School District campuses and offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

• Orangefield Independent School District campuses and offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

• West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District campuses and offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Cities, county, other

• Orange County non-emergency offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

• City of Orange offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. This includes city hall, municipal court, neighborhood facility building, Orange Public Library, Orange Recreation Center and the wastewater dump station.

 • East Roundbunch swing bridge 

Orange County Road and Bridge officials are advising the public that the East Roundbunch swing bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at approximately 6 p.m. on Sunday due to forecasted inclement weather and will reopen on Wednesday.

The weather conditions may include ice and sleet, which could make the bridge and surrounding roads hazardous for travel. Officials will continue to monitor the weather and assess road and bridge conditions throughout the week. Motorists are urged to plan ahead for potential delays and seek alternative routes. Safety remains a top priority, and updates on the bridge’s status will be provided as necessary.
