Orange County will be hosting a list of elections in 2025. The following seats are up for election this year.

City of Orange 

Three seats are up for election in the City of Orange. They include Caroline Hennigan, Council Member At Large Place 5, Brad Childs, Council Member District 2 and Mary McKenna Council Member District 4 

Terms are for three years. More information is available on the city election website.

Bridge City 

Three seats are up for election in Bridge City. They include Aaron Roccaforte, Place 1, Bryant Champagne, Place 3 and Terri Gauthier, Place 5, Mayor Pro-Tem.

Terms are for two years. More Information is available on the city election website.  

Bridge City ISD

Three seats are up for election in Bridge City ISD. They include Rebecca Rutledge, President and Place 3, Thad Hill, Place 4 and Jerry McInnis, Secretary and Place 5. 

 Terms are for two years. More Information is available on the school district’s election website.

West Orange 

Three seats are up for election for the City of West Orange. They include Mayor Randy Branch and along with council members Meritta Kennedy, and Brent Dearing.

Terms are for three years. 

Pinehurst

Three seats are up for election for the City of Pinehurst. They include J. Michael Shahan, Mayor Pro-Tem, Joey Vance, Councilman and Troy Pierce, Councilman.

Little Cypress – Mauriceville ISD

Three seats are up for election for the Little Cypress – Mauriceville ISD school board. They include Jeff Hill, Place 3, Chris Riedel, Place 6 and Derry Dunn, Place 7.

West Orange – Cove Consolidated ISD

Three seats are up for election for the West Orange – Cove Consolidated ISD. They include Linda Platt-Bryant, President, Gina Yeaman, Vice President and Demetrius Hunter, trustee.

Important Dates

Filing is open from Jan. 15 to Feb. 14.

The last day to register to vote in the May 3 election is April 3.

Early Voting will commence April 22.

Election Day is May 3.
