The Lutcher Theater announces Broadway musical Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations will take the stage for two nights Jan.14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. This hit musical nominated for 12 Tony Awards and winner of the 2019 Tony Award for Best Choreography, brings the story of the Temptations to life
Set to the beat of the group’s treasured hits, including “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination,” “Get Ready,” and “Papa Was a Rolling Stone,” “Ain’t Too Proud” follows The Temptations’ extraordinary journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
“We are beyond excited to bring ‘Ain’t Too Proud’ to the Lutcher Theater stage,” said Lynae Sanford, executive director of the Lutcher Theater. “This show is not only a celebration of incredible music and choreography, but also a powerful story of perseverance and brotherhood that will resonate with our audiences.
